Thunder, Thunder, Thundercats, HO!

Cartoon Network announced today that “Thundercats,” the reimagining of the 1980s classic will premiere Friday, July 29^th at 8 p.m. with a one-hour episode.

I was a big “Thundercats” fan, so I was a little nervous about a re-imagining. However, taking a look at the cast, assembled by the great Andrea Romano of Warner Bros., makes me feel a whole lot better…

Will Friedle was fantastic as Terry McGinnis/Batman in “Batman Beyond.” Kevin Michael Richardson is a perfect choice for Panthro and I’m excited about Emmanuelle Chriqui (Sloane from “Entourage”) voicing my favorite character, Cheetara.
